Burritos Deliciosos!


Okay, so I just made burritos and they were amazing, so I thought I’d share the love (not my burritos, though). Here’s the recipe I invented. It is so good!

Burritos Deliciosos (makes 10 large burritos), about 30 minutes cook time

10 large flour tortillas

1 can refried beans

1 lb beef (preferably grass fed, pasture-raised)

3 jalapeno peppers, sliced

1 small onion, chopped

4 tbsp olive oil

Adobo spice, to taste (about 1-2 tbsp)

Chili powder, to taste (about 1-2 tbsp)

1 tbsp cumin

1/4 cup tomato sauce

1/2 cup water

8 oz Mexican shredded cheese

Cook the onion and the jalapenos in a large skillet with a little olive oil. Add the spices and cook until onions and jalapenos are soft. Add beef, tomato sauce, and water. Cook until beef is brown. Add the can of beans and mix well. Cook until all the water is absorbed. Heating up the tortillas, fill middle of each tortilla with desired amount of mix in a line and an ounce or so of cheese. Fold sides then front and back. Place on oiled baking sheet. Rub olive oil on the burritos and cook at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes or until slightly browned. Enjoy with jalapenos, avocado, tomatos, onions, sour cream, or whatever else you like! Hope you like it!
